Zunil Cinta
Cinta from Zunil, Guatemala 110" long x 1" wide
This 1970's cinta or hand-woven hair sash was woven on a back-strap loom. The designs are beautifully executed. There is an area toward the bottom of the sash that was repaired with red thread (visible in the picture below) but otherwise it is in beautiful shape for it's age.
