Quetzaltenango corte

This is a traditional corte of the area of Quetzaltenango (better known as Xela by locals).  Xela cortes have embroidered flowers and birds and a background of foot loom woven blue cloth that is similiar to denim.  All cotton.  If opened at the seam this piece is 72" x 44".  It would make a beautiful tablecloth if you are re-purposing or it would be great for your Guatemalan collection as it is a good example of a tradtional Xela corte.

Cortes are sold by the piece and not by the yard.
