These pieces were done by the Lorenzo family of Guerrero, Mexico. This is a multi-generational family of artisans started by the patriarch, Lucas Lorenzo, over 50 years ago. The Lorenzo family descends from the Nahuatl tribal group in central Mexico. The family stylistic tradition depicts saints, devils, angels, and animals in brightly painted folk art styles. Painted cross on masonite 11 1/2" x 9".
